Initiated by DJ/producer CLAUDE MONNET, the Back To Fundamentals project is the opportunity to have a more precise idea of the way house music, a genre which first came to light back at the end of the first half of the eighties, has been perceived in France at the time. The artists involved in this project have been invited to create an unreleased cut with current technologies and therefore to give their vision of this musical style, via their respective influences and culture. The particularism of this concept is characterised by the nature of the artist rooster, being the perfect illustration, not only of the impact but also both the extreme versatility as displayed by house music since the early days and the evolution to come, in regards to a universal genre nowadays.
