Album description

It's good to see Eastern Europe is getting involved as well in todays house scene. Coming straight from Zagreb, is the High Life album by Eddy & Dus. It features todays typical cocktail of warm deep vibes & grooves, full of funk, jazz, oldskool disco, soul and garage elements. We immediately get in the mood with "Zagreb Vibes", a mid tempo paced groover with silky strings all over it. "Phat bumper" is indeed a fat heavy beat future funk track with a touch of filtered disco. "The bright song" sounds just like that typical Incognito track. "Starlite" sounds like a great garage classic with nice sax all over. "Get me down" and "Mr. Funk saved the world" are bringing us again towards funky breakbeats & deep atmospheres. The latter featuring delicious bass guitar drops & sax. The tracks you'll probably melt for most of all are "Blueberry Kingdom" and "High Life". It are the moogs again on a funky mid tempo bassline that create an ultra deep feeling, sure fingerlicking good, wi! th "High life" sounding like coming straight from Chicago's deepest shelters. Finally, there is the strange beast of "No more blues", a bizarre mixture of breakbeats and a poppy song. As such, the High Life album is a nice album for all sort of circumstances, be it chilling in the bedroom, for a party warm-up or for these late night hours. http://www.ssohmusic.com All tracks writtten, arranged and produced by Eddy Ramic & Zvonimir Dusper except tracks 3 and 8 Track 3 : written by Eddy & Dus and Valarie N Track 8 : written by Dus Track 13 : written by Antonio Carlos Jobim Publishing : PENSO POSITIVO P&C : PENSO POSITIVO
