Francesco Tarantini : Cantor, Out Now exclusively on TRAXSOURCE !

http://www.backtofundamentals.com/new/index.php?id=32

Francesco Tarantini : Cantor - SSOH 50th release!

Just in time for the WMC, the SSOH family is really proud to present you the 50th release in her history. Many trends have come and gone during the years, but Claude Monnet's label has always been on top of the business thanks to the quality of its artists; sometimes acclaimed names, sometimes unknown, like Francesco Tarantini was before 2010 when he released his first EP with SSOH. From then till now, the Italian producer has kept on establishing his name in the music business by releasing his projects with some of the most important labels and obviously with SSOH and Analog, with the new project "Francese" alongside Claude himself.
For this year's conference Francesco serves a killer track that has all it takes to become a dancefloor burner. From jazzy influences to latin vibes, "Cantor" truly stands as an underground anthem.
The Original Mix takes us in the core of the track, with the piano line rising from a tribal beat fullfilled with atmospheric pads. Then the vocal and the brass lines do the rest with that classic "hands up in the air" moment. The DJ Tool is perfect for the live shows, we always need a bomb beat!
The French godfather of house and SSOH's honcho proudly celebrates the 50th release with two edits. The "Beatless Mix" is music with a capitol M. It's all focused on the flow of the track, the way it evolves with all the elements together till the end, when the vocals close all in a dreaming atmosphere. On the other side, the "Reprise Dub" practically empowers the impact of the original track on the floor with a devastating effect.
Once again Claude puts his mark on a project that will not disappoint the great tradition of quality releases we receive from SSOH. Enjoy!!

Francesco Tarantini - The Medicine man Ep - (Remixes and edits) - OUT NOW exclusively on TRAXSOURCE!

http://www.backtofundamentals.com/new/index.php?id=30

After the success of Francesco Tarantini’s The Medicine Man EP on SSOH label, the young and impressive Italian revisits the six-track EP, hand-picking some of the brightest producers on the underground house scene to give each track a fresh breath of life.
From the dark and wonky Green Velvet-esque original, you couldn't get further from Aaron Und Pascal’s dreamy re-edit of Time To Wait. The pair keep the underlying funk but embed it into softly textured synth layers that cushion the melody into a hypnotic, almost lullaby state.
Blueday Stereo return from their own foray on SSOH imprint, Forever, to remix Circles. Releasing the track from its initial bass line heavy feel, they offer up a smooth, steady remix that gently but progressively develops in delicate momentum, slowly building up layers of vocal samples from the original for a beautifully simple yet deceptively complex edit.
The riotous, 70’s infused feel of La Disco is bought down a notch by The Deepshakerz, muting the heady tones of the original to produce a lounge version to suit the more subtler sets of deep disco house. On remix duty for Echoes, Berardino & Sonatore take the track away from its initial three-quarter beat, bringing it back round to 4x4, introducing lush, chugging bass elements and revitalizing organ chords for a grooving, funked-up edit.
With snare, brush and bongo drums from the start, Reegroove set about giving Downtown an intrinsically sensual, tribal touch. Percussive and snyth stabs build themselves around the vocal line, creating a moving, hip-shaking, sexually rhythmic groove. Finally Tarantini himself returns to the EP on It’s House. Still keeping that deep, squelching house sound, this time round he opts for a more percussive feel instead of the original’s funk-fuelled organ flavour. Losing none of the groove, depth or passion, Tarantini’s Re-Work is the perfect note to end things on.

Early support from:

* Grant Nelson : Very useful and powerful stuff here. (La disco)
* Baggi Beggovic :excellent EP love the sound!!! Downtown (Reegroove club Mix)
* Warren Clarke : All very playable tracks. I really feeling this. full support
* Groove Assasins - slammin package of edits and remixes ..on heavy rotation !!! Cheers.
* Chus : nice package, very cool. thanks (La Disco)
* Felix Feygin - alot of amazing music on this release.. as always from SSOH. great pack of remixes to complement the original release! 10/10!
